I didn’t meet either of them at TAM 5, but Phil’s presentation in which he debunked the feeble evidence from so-called “Moon Conspiracy Theorists” was priceless. He was able, in very short order, to lay waste to their best “evidence” that NASA faked the Apollo moon landings. Starless sky over the moon? Nope, stars are faint, and the photos were taken using short exposures with fast film. Shadows not parallel? Nope, shadows converge to a vanishing point as they do on Earth. At every point, Phil was able to clearly and easily discredit the claims made by the conspiracy proponents, which left one inescapable conclusion: We really went to the moon.
