My in-laws operate a gas station. My wife and I work there from time to time. One thing we have noticed is that the lower income people usually only get like 3 dollars worth of gas. Last weekend I watched a buy put 8$ into a F-150. Really! It happens all the time. Then later in the day they are back for 4 bucks worth of gas and then run into the c-store for a 6 dollar pack of butts. They have no idea how much they spend on gas and NEVER fill it in one visit. Correct on all accounts.
