		<description>I agree with most all of what Pat Condell was saying, but I will take it one step further.  We need to stop getting so fucking offended when someone wants to talk about religion.  I'm not trying to get Dawkins-ish or PZ-ish on anybody's ass, but since when did atheism become a negative thing?  And when did religion become a right of passage to never have your beliefs questioned?

Just like Pat said, we need to stop appeasing religion.  Just because you believe in magic sky chappies or fairy dust, doesn't mean you are suddenly better than everyone else and no one can question your beliefs.  Quite the contrary should be the case.  The onus should rest upon you, not me.

I am not saying I have the right to approach people and act like an ass and piss them off because they are religious.  I'm simply saying it makes no sense that I can be offended and treated differently for my beliefs, but when I question someone else's belief suddenly I'm a pompous ass.  Religion has too many protections.</description>
